Xaw nervously held his Cat O' Nine Tails, his blue eyes warily flicking back and forth. He was scared, very scared, and furious. Someone had tried to assassinate him, either one of his own bodyguards or his son Rune, and it was obvious his second-in-command were showing signs of a rebellion. The black fox tyrant jumps cracking his whip as a wolf charges past, nearly knocking him over. Confused, Xaw slunk over to the door the wolf exited from.
"Hellgates!" The black fox hissed, tripping over something that lay in the doorway. Looking down he saw crumpled black fox, its the top left side of his head covered in blood. Xaw's blue eyes widened with shock, but not grief. It was Rune Bane Nightslayer, his son! Turning he caught sight of two other bodies. It were those two Highlander foxes; they seemed be locked in death's embrace, one them holding the front of the other's tunic in a death grip.
"What happened?" Xaw demanded, not bothering to see if their was another beast in the room.

What do you think fool? **Fishrudder sent his bodyguards around to close and lock the door. The battle axe was still in his hand. He asks Xaw.** What do you think would happen if I killed you**
OOC: If you do die, we will just go through this cycle again and again. Just escaping, coming back and overthrowing the army

Almost absent-mindedly, Xaw picked up Comet's fallen sword. He eyes his second-in-command, an almost disdainful look on his face, disguising his fear well. Taking a few practice swipes with the claymore, the black fox replied.
"I'd think you're a coward. Even I don't have bodyguards constantly following me around."

It's a good thing I do, otherwise I would be dead, as you can see, there has been some killing in this room. Any way, why don't we just fight and get it over with. **With that he threw himself at Xaw, Axe leading the way.**

*The black fox nimbly leaped out of the way, blue eyes narrowed menacingly. He snatched up his son's corpse and held it from of him like a shield. It seems you actually have a purpose, Rune! Xaw growled silently. He lashed his nine-tailed whip at Sharkrudder's legs, hoping to throw the otter off balance.*
